This is going to get a little pic heavy. I think I've re-sized to an acceptable level for this page...

At any rate, I went to work with the predators again, tonight.

That's the entrance hole of a 16 gr Predator at 12 meters, in a .008 micron fibre water filter. The fibre is wet, and a fairly close approximation of game, excluding bones.

There's the exit hole.

There's the expanded pellet as it was caught by my cardboard/carpet trap...

I am quite heartened by this performance.

The predator expanded to almost .30 cal- most impressive.

Even more impressive (to me) is the rifling grooves around the head of the pellet. AR-20-78-A on the 3k tube, 2200 psi, 960-980 fps.

There was a bit of trouble with the rifle tonight:

The rubber sleeve a/g seal I was using for a transfer port started blowing air at shot #3 of this group. #4 & #5 are the result of air blowing into my face.

I badly want to get out, and let these fly at 25 and 50 yds. Just had another 5 cm of snow here today... fingers crossed for Friday, or Saturday...
