Have you cronied it and if so what results did you see?

I Installed the nitro piston conversion in my .22 phantom, its up to just under 700 FPS with JSB Exact Jumbo Diabolo (15.83gr).

Was expecting a little more power from her, converting from a USA spring wasn't that huge a leap as converting from the Canadian spring to the American one., although i believe its in line for the piston they advertise the Jim Shockey nitro pistons as 950 FPS in .22 cal but of course that's with the marketing tactic of using a non lead pellet.

Don't shy away from the kit because it says some machining is needed, i was able to do it in under 2 minutes with a dremel stone, though you will need a spring compressor.

You will end up with a much more accurate rifle with the Nitro piston, and you lose a bit of that thwack rattle sound of the springs when you fire.
